I'm a bit behind, but just thought of my old buddy Kerry Leary - which led me to search for him online and learn of his passing in 2017. What a wonderful and special man he was! I knew him from Sedgwick's in Chicago, where he would often come in and share popcorn or lunch with me. He was a beam of light during a not so great time in my life and I'll never forget him! Rest in peace buddy, you were very loved!

Had the immense pleasure of knowing Kerry in the last few years of his life. He will be greatly missed by so many at Illinois Masonic. I will never forget him and the joy he brought to my life.

Never a dull moment with such a wonderful man. He sure made ya feel special. My friends often visit from Ohio, and on one occasion he meet our friend Kyle. Two years past and Kyle returned for a visit. Kyle was shocked that a man he only meet for a few hours years ago, remembered his name, what he did for a living, and even brought up memories from his last visit. Kerry had that way of making you feel known and loved. I'll miss my phone calls from you good sir!

"I am very sorry to hear of Kerry's passing , I shared many great fun moments with Kerry over the last 10 years or so ...mostly in Stanley's with Donnie, Art, Ballina Eagle, Adrianne,Adam, Randy, Marisa & Coley & all of the great Stanley's staff with The man himself ,Kerry ... ..although the best fun time out of all of those great funday's / moments with Kerry was going to the races at Arlington pk with him,Donnie & meself ...ah stop the lights we had just a laugh from start to finish ...we began in the stable Kitchen & ended up on the grandstand ...I remember that the two Lads Donnie & Kerry had great appetites that day...for the grub as much as the racing !! ...but we did also make a few quid with a winner or two ....The three of us smiled & laughed all afternoon long .. as he truly loved the horses & told us many great stories during the trip from his younger days racing experiences ... I expect Him & Donnie might be having a flutter on the Gigi's in the land above ...I am delighted I had the pleasure of knowing Kerry , Thank you & May he rest in peace......" Paul O Reilly.
