Larry Reynolds, Sr. gained his heavenly wings on Monday, October 7, 2024, at the age of 73. He was a native of New Orleans, LA, and a resident of Marrero, LA. Larry was a graduate of Lincoln High School class of 1969, where he played on the football team. After graduation he continued his studies at the University of New Orleans. He was a former employee of Avondale Shipyard as a welder and South Central Bell. Devoted father of Larry Reynolds, Jr., Chontell Reynolds both of Houston, TX, Bridgette Bienville of Baton Rouge, LA, and Brencia Bienville of Congress, GA. Grandfather of Brian Stewart, Nataliyah Gray, and Brielle Claimons. Devoted son of Lillie R. Mullen and the late OB Smith. Grandson of the late Elnora Lee Tennessee. Brother of Irma Lee DeCou, Jeanette Hillard, and the late Jimmie Cornelius Brown. Uncle of the late Leroy Daryl DeCou. Nephew of the late Pecola Lee Harris, Mannie Moore Thomas, Helen Lee Hall Singleton, Lenvi Jackson, Randall Lewis, Leroy Perry, and Ruben Hall, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, Fischer Community Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the church.
