Leola Domio Obituary

Leola Jackson Domio, a retired schoolteacher, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, after a lengthy illness. Daughter of the late Lucious and Alma Jackson; beloved wife of the late Lanis Domio, Jr.; devoted mother of Lucious (Debra) Domio, Andrietta (Ronn) Garner, Cassandra Domio & Rhonda Domio; grandmother of Jasmine (Kenneth) West, Jeneé Domio & Jared (Jaimee) Domio; great grandmother of Maleah Porch, Jackson West, and Maxwell West; godmother of Terence Morris & Stanley Reed, and friend/sister of Etta Morris. Also survived by 12 bonus grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Members of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, the former St. Rose Missionary Baptist Church, Orleans Parish School System, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, 8282 I-10 Service Road South, New Orleans, LA 70126 on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Senior Pastor Fred Luter, Jr. officiating.
