Linda Pritchett Obituary

Linda Ann Pritchett entered eternal rest at her residence on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the age of 63. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Linda was a 1979 graduate of John Ehret High School. She retired from The Sunshine Pages as an Office Administrator. Beloved daughter of the late Rev. Alex J. Pritchett, Sr. and Ernestine R. Pritchett. Granddaughter of the late Rev. Samuel T. and Lillie Fazande Richard, Alex and Mattie Jordan Pritchett. Loving sister of Thais M. Walker, Fayette P. Frazier, Joannette M. Jones, Theophilus A. Pritchett, Orlando C. Pritchett, and the late Alex J. Pritchett, Jr., Percival E. Pritchett, and Schwann P. Mealancon. Niece of Barbara D. Jones, Rosa C. Jordan, and Harry Jordan, Sr. Special aunt of Danielle J. George and Taylor M. George. Sister-in-law of Esaw Frazier, Jr. and Tyrone Jones. Lifelong friend of Darlene McKinnies, Mother Mary-Alice Jackson, and Mother Melvina Shepard; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Progressive Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Progressive Church, 437 Cohen Street, Marrero, LA on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Sterling Mealancon, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church. So sorry to hear this. Linda is a great part of our childhood memories while living in Harvey. She used to look out for us when we were younger and give us extra cookies when we bought snacks from their store. Linda had a loving personality. YAH bless you Linda and your family.
