Golgi and I grew up in the seventh ward, New Orleans. We had great crowd: Louis Wilfred Cureau, Spenser Burrell, Bobby McLaughlin, Vincent Angeletta, Jerry Yost, Golgi and me, William Speedy Collins. Jerry and I are in touch with each other. We can't locate Vincent. The rest have all gone to Glory.
We used to meet every Saturday after visiting our girlfriends to go to jazz clubs or just sit on my patio and eat bar b que chicken and drink beer.
The last time I saw Golgi was at Wilfred's funeral. I miss the old crowd. I have a photograph of Googi and Claudette holding infant. Lionel. I will offer it to him. It wes taken around 1956.

"When you are sorrowful, look again in your heart, and you shall see that you are weeping for that which has been your delight."
---Khalil Gibran
To the Boissiere family, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. We will always remember LeLee fondly and the good times shared in New Orleans with you all. One of our earliest memories of LeLee was our dad bringing us over to the house on Hope Street. LeLee, Conrad and Joe were in the front room playing Jessie Hill's Ooo Poo Pah Doo and singing along. Reesie was in the corner reading a science book. Pat and Linda were hanging out on the front porch checking out the neighborhood. May you take comfort in these and other good times you shared with each other.
