Lisa Aguilar Obituary

Lisa Ruth Aguilar died peacefully on Thursday, September 13, 2018. Beloved mother of Justin, Thomas, Crista, and Anthony Ribando. Cherished daughter of Alex ("Ike") Aguilar, Jr. and Myrtle Ruth Giordano and favored niece of Merrell Joy Aguilar. Beloved sister of Glenn Aguilar (Tammy), Kevin Aguilar (Kristi) and Alex "Ike" Aguilar, III (Renee). Also survived and missed by 8 nieces and nephews who knew her affectionately as "Nanny Lisa." Preceded in death by her nephew Alex Aguilar, IV. A graduate of Archbishop Blenk High School and a Dental Hygienist by trade, Lisa was a thoughtful, generous, loving, and fun mother, daughter, sister, friend, and co-worker. The family will receive visitors at Visitation of Our Lady Church, 3500 Ames Blvd., Marrero, LA from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 Noon on Monday September 17, 2018 followed by a Funeral Mass at Noon. Interment at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements. Family and friends may offer condolences at mothefunerals.com.

I was so very saddened to learn of Lisa's passing. Please know my family and I pray for her children and family, and we will remember all of you in our ongoing intentions.
