My heart aches for the family of Mrs. Lois. Everyone who grew up on Marino Drive were like family. I can see her standing on her sidewalk (smiling) watching all of us kids enjoying our "penny party fair" in her yard. I remember running into her at Sacred Heart Church (a couple of years ago) after not seeing her for years. She approached me with that beautiful smile and hugged me like her own. Don't mourn but celebrate her...the great Mom she was when you boys were young and the wonderful friend she was to all of you during your adult years. She is at Peace.

I am so sorry to hear about Lois. I have fond memories of her soft words and sweet smile. How she rolled the lemon for her amazing iced tea. Mr. William, Andre, William & Chanel, I am so sorry for your loss. Love, Sil

For those of you who didn't know the depth of my mothers love for her family and friends, I feel compelled to let you know that nothing mattered more to her than to spread good will, love and compassion to all of you. She so loved her husband and sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Becky and Brenda know that you took center stage always and that you were the daughters she always longed for. And to Deborah, you were always remembered fondly and lovingly by Mama. She held all the Carmouches, Cambres and Lagardes dear to her heart...her siblings, her nieces and nephews and her friends. Her best friends were her three loving sisters...Beverly, Mae and Mildred. She always looked forward to her monthly luncheons with her former classmates. Her neighbors Nat, Josie and Martha were always remembered by Mama. Sue, know that my mother had a special connection to you. To my dear friends who always treated my mother with such respect and admiration, she had such fond feelings for all of you. My mother was a soldier for Christ and spent much of her day in prayer, not for herself, but for those she loved.
We miss our mother terribly but her presence is still felt every hour of every day.
All my love,
Andre
