Fr. Bill and the Blanda family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. As a former teacher of Fr. Bill, I knew Lou very well. Lou loved St. Rosalie School very much and always strived for the highest academic standards as school board president. We celebrated with him when we were recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, under the excellent administration of Sr. Jeanne McLoughlin, O.P. She had tremendous respect for Lou and always spoke so highly of him.

May your heart and soul find peace and comfort.

When I was a District Executive with the New Orleans Boy Scouts of America in the mid-sixties, I met Lou when he a Counselor for the boys. Later we were brought together in the Joe Yenni administration and saw his great wisdom with the public he served. The pleasure we had while visiting Lou and lovely wife, Doris, during the past 10 years or so will stay with me always. I was present with Lou and family in one of the proudest moments of his life when son Father Bob was ordained in Lafayette. God has blessed his family and Lou is now waiting at home with his Heavenly Father for the rest of his family. I love you Lou!
