Dear Ms. Jane and Toni. Deepest condolences from me and all of my family. I had the pleasure of seeing and visiting with Doc at lunch not so very long ago and he was still the same dear person he always was. He was my doctor from childhood and through adulthood,as well as my mother's, father's, sister's, and brother's doctor He delivered my children. When I think of him I think of the time when Slidell was so small and everyone knew each other. He, as well as your entire family, will always be a part of that history. There will never be another like him.

I am one of the sitters who had taken care of Doc and Jane. My name is Cindy Morain and I have learned alot from Dr. Polizzi. I took to him immediately. Doc has taught me alot. He taught me to charge automobile batteries, jump cars, eat oysters, fried and raw. He was the kindest man I ever met. Doc will be in my heart forever. He will be sadly missed by me. It was a pleasure working with him. He was just a pleasant person. My heart goes out to his family especially Toni and Jane. (who i'm sure I will be in touch with and see quite often. I will be there for Jane whenever she needs me.) Again, Doc you will be missed by me forever. "I miss our rides to the Rigolets and watering the orchids already. Love You, Cindy P.S "Where's my keys?"

My deepest condolences to Miss Jane and the family. I cherish loving memories of "Doc" when on many occasions he and Miss Jane would visit us at the Rigolets; they'd duck hunt & fish, then bring back redfish and ducks and we'd all feast. Always in good humor he kept us in good spirits. Not only was he our family's physician but he was also our family's very dear friend and he will be greatly missed by us all. God Bless and keep his family during this difficult time. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. With love

We were neighbors of "Doc" and Jane from 1972 - 1998, just across the road. They were always so generous with their orchids for many of the fund raisers for mental health that we hosted. Our sympathy is extended to Dr. Polizzi's family and our condolences to Jane.

Dr. Polizzi took care of my family for a very VERY long time (he even delivered me) and I can remember as a little girl going to his office and he would always make me smile. He was such an amazing man, and my prayers are with his family.

Uncle Louis will be missed. He had a great (and unique) sense of humor. When he spoke, you knew he was holding nothing back, but spoke from the heart, to anyone who would listen. He could be highly entertaining and enlightening, sometimes menacing, and he seemed to be the perfect soul mate to my beautiful and dear aunt, Janie. I grieve with the family, especially, with Toni. I wish I could be there to hold your hands and walk down memory lane with you both.

Bon courage!

love, kathy
