Louise Lopiccolo Obituary

LOPICCOLO Louise Distefano Lopiccolo passed away on Monday, August 25, 2008 at the age of 82. Beloved wife for 61 years to the late Anthony Lopiccolo, Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn L. Hankel and her husband Charles Christian Hankel and Jo Anne L. Dubos and her husband Mark N. Dubos, three grandchildren, Jason, Meredith and Jacob Dubos and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lopiccolo, a native of Independence, LA and lifelong resident of the New Orleans area, was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Agnes Distefano, four sisters, Katie Gennardo, Annie Criscione, Lena Marchese, Virginia Prescia and one brother, Roy Distefano. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation and Funeral Mass. Visitation will be held at Schoen Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. at N. Scott, on Friday, August 29, 2008 between the hours of 8:30 AM and 11:30 AM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 105 Bonnabel Blvd., Metairie, LA, on 12 Noon Friday. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Mausoleum. Family and friends are invited to view and sign an online guestbook at www.legacy.com.
