Lucille T. Redmond, age 87, entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 9, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Redmond; daughter, Betty Redmond; 2 grandchildren, John Shepard and Matthew Porter; parents, Matthew Tolliver and Lillian Ellis; and 1 brother Matthew Tolliver. She leaves to cherish her memories her 3 children, Earl Porter Jr. (Clarice), Mary Williams, and James Redmond (Patrice); and host of grandchildren, other family, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are all invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, October 15, 2016, 11:00AM, at Little Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 3709 General Taylor St., NOLA with Pastor Timothy W. Howard Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the hour of service. Interment Providence Memorial Park.
