Maria Hawk Obituary

Funeral services for Maria Culotta Hawk will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at Jacob Schoen and Son, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans. A Mass will be held at 12 Noon with interment immediately following in Hope Mausoleum. Mrs. Hawk died Saturday morning at Lindy Boggs Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was 94.Mrs. Hawk was born in Honduras. She moved with her family to New Orleans at age 12. Mrs. Hawk was a homemaker and her late husband, Clyde V. Hawk, was founder of Corbesco, Inc. Mrs. Hawk, like her late husband, was very active in Carnival organizations. Both reigning as King and Queen on many occasions. She is survived by her brothers, John G. Culotta, Sr. and Philip Paul Culotta, Jr., and sisters, Marguerite Culotta Ficarra and Melba Culotta Trinchard. Family, friends and associates of CENTURY 21 Patio Realty, Inc. are invited. Visitation begins Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. Family guest book may be signed online under Current Family Services at www.schoencanalstreet.com.
