Marsha A. Parker passed away peacefully at the age of 68 at Ochsner Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana. The sun rose upon Marsha's life on November 15, 1955, and set upon it on May 27, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Webster Jr., her mother, Johanna Howard Webster, two brothers, Larry Webster and Edward Webster III, two sisters, Jacqueline W. Williams (Charles) and Deborah Richardson (Eugene), two nephews, Todd Richardson and Edward A. Webster. She is survived by many loving family members: her three children, daughter Delicia R. Parker-Henderson (Lee), and sons, Danie L. Parker Jr., and Darris M. Parker, three grandchildren, Leia Zane, Lecia Zendaya, and Lee Otha Henderson III; three brothers, Joshua (Charmaine), Kirk (Katrina), and Barry: two sisters, Sandra Marshall (Robert) and Arlene Sambo (Larry), devoted sisters-in-law, Delores Webster and Martha Webster and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, extended family, and her church family. Marsha was a graduate of Rabouin Vocational Tech High School. She studied two years at Delgado Community College, where she received a Unit Secretary Certification. She went on to work many jobs in that field, including positions with the Orleans Parish School Board and the New Orleans Police Department as an intake specialist. Marsha was active in church, serving as a greeter for many years. She was a very family-oriented person and held a strong family-first outlook on life. She was a talented seamstress, and found immense joy in cooking for family and friends. Her favorite bible scripture was found in Psalm 34:1. She will be greatly missed.
