Marvin Graves Obituary

GRAVES Marvin Graves entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 28, 2011 at the age of 76. Beloved father of Kenneth Brown, Shelia Graves, Ronald Graves, Patricia Graves, Lawrence Robertson, Gwendolyn Robertson, Gloria Robertson (Williams), Sandra Robertson, and Torra Robertson (Maney). Survived by sibilings: Helen Bickham, Bobbie Nell Graves, Verlean (Walter) Howard, Ella Ruth (Alex) Simmons, Lois (Tommie) Williams, Narvin (Arlene) Graves, David Graves, and Dewitt Graves. Also survived by brother-in-law: Melvin Calender, 23 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Martiner and Luther Graves, 4 brothers: Harvell Graves, Melvin Graves, Richard Graves, Frederick Graves, and 1 sister: Earlene Calender. A Homegoing celebration will be held Friday, November 4th, 2011 at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70126 for 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM.
