Mason Wyatt Obituary

Mason Claude Wyatt, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Friday October 7, 2016 at 12:30p.m. at the age of 61. Mason was a native of Natchez, MS (Roxie) and a resident of Gretna, LA. He was a graduate of Franklin County High School and a former employee of Marathon Oil and Danos & Curole as an operator. Beloved husband of Ava Maria Himes Wyatt. Father of Gordon Anthony Wyatt, Jason Wyatt, and Mason Wyatt, III. Son of the late Mason C. Wyatt, Sr. and Johnnie Mae Wyatt. Grandson of the late Cleveland and Lillie Mae Norman. Brother of Jerronomore (Peggy)Wyatt of Roxie, MS, John Brown, Bernard Brown, Beverly Brown, Ernestine Brown of Claremont, OK, Gloria (Kelvin) Taylor, Massie T. Jenkins of Gulfport, MS, and Senora Williams of Roxie, MS, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Holy Trinity Christian Baptist Church and neighboring churches; employees of Common Ground Health Clinic are invited to attend the viewing at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Holy Trinity Christian Baptist Church 1727 Erie St. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11:00a.m. Bishop Patrick Leonard, officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time. Interment: Westlawn Cemetery-Gretna, LA. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA.
