I worked with Melissa at Cuco's in Slidell, almost 20 years ago. We hit it off and became fast friends. We lost touch over the years. I thought of her this evening (Feb 19, 2020) as I'm sitting with my husband at dinner. I looked her up. I can't believe she's gone. My condolences to Melissa's family, especially her children, mother, and brother. Melissa, we'll always be friends.

My deepest sympathy to the Labruzzo family. I did not know Melissa but worked at the Fairmont Hotel with many members of the Labruzzo family. Miss Gerry rode with us to work everyday and kept us entertained with her dry sense of humor. She was a beautiful, talented, loving woman who suffered many losses. I am sure she will be with her grandmother resting peacefully. Gerry's love for her family was incredible enduring so much loss. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Jane Place
