Mrs.Bonnie, Michelle & Lizzie:

I just learned of Mr. Mike's passing from Jane. I just wanted to let
you know how very sorry I am and that you are all in my thoughts
and prayers.

I have fond memories of Mr. Mike when we were growing up on Elmeer and, even though we haven't seen each other in a while, still feel very close as the neighborhood bond we shared never fades.

Love.

Jeanie

Dear Bonnie,

I was saddened when I read in NOLA.COM that Michael had passed into the arms of Jesus. Even though I never met him, I have prayed for him since you first told me he was ill. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and will continue to be in my prayers. I hope you can find strength and peace, knowing that he will no longer suffer and that he will be waiting for the day when you finally join him.

With deepest sympathy,
Judy Campbell-your Cabrini classmate

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I am so proud to be called a friend of Mike. He was a lovely spiritual person and there is no doubt where he lives today. He wagered a courageous battle and never complained. The world should have alot of people like Mike.He will be missed. Sincere sympathy to the family especially the grandson he loved so much.

Mike was a living definition of the word 'gentleman', from his southern hospitality to his genuine respect for others. Mike always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say, (except maybe after he got a speeding ticket on his way to a meeting at Hunter Lane). Mike will truly be missed by his friends at Rite Aid Corporation.
God Bless you Mike.

I am sorry to hear of Mike's passing. He was a very down-to-earth, friendly person with a can-do attitude despite the challenges life threw at him. He rolled up his sleeves and worked hard on anything assigned to him at work.

He was also there providing support and understanding as I dealt with cancer, for which I am very appreciative.

My thoughts, prayers and best wishes go out to his friends and family during this time.
