Michele Colleen Hogan

1966 - 2022

Michele Colleen Hogan, age 55, and a resident of Kenner, LA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 23, 2022. Michele was born on June 5, 1966, and is survived by her father, Frank J. Hogan of LaPlace, LA, her mother, Wanda Long Hogan of Long Beach, MS and sister, Patricia Hogan of Gulfport, MS. Michele was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Patrick C. and Carmen M. Hogan of New Orleans, LA, and maternal grandparents, Capt. T.P. Long and Juanita Long of Long Beach, MS. Michele, a graduate of Kehoe France, Louise S. McGehee and LSU, was active in the hospitality industry having spent many years at Houston's, Zea Rotisserie and Bonefish Grill. She was an avid LSU fan and enjoyed gardening having been trained by Dan Gill in his first Master Gardener Class. Michele served many years as a member of her Homeowners' Association Board. She was a lover of animals, especially her cats, Colby Jack and Pepper Jack. Michele loved people and especially loved her friends for whom she would go to at any length. She loved life and was loved by all who knew her. Services will be held at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70001, on Saturday, April 2, 2022, with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm, and a Baptist Service at 3:00 pm.
