This reminder of Mignon's passing appeared in my email and I was just thinking about how much I loved her and how much her whole beautiful, positive, loving energy affected me over the years. Sometimes, you see people like Mignon Constantin Wolff and Betty Constantin and you just decide that you need to be that sort of light in the world. You'll never measure up, most likely, but, you can have an impact by attempting to be like them. God Bless beautiful Mignon, and we are all blessed by having known her and having been in her shining presence. I miss her!!

Just found out the shocking news today from Milton while at the Adoration Chapel that Mignon was summoned home to the Father's house on January 2nd. Knew her from the Catholic Book store and was able to renew our friendship when seeing each other infrequently at the chapel. Absolutely, echoing the same sentiments posted about her. It seems we all share not only a sorrow but feel a great loss, even felt by people who never did get to meet her personally. There was this godly attribute that dominated her personality, it was so captivating. In her presence you felt peaceful, and a sense of well being. It truly was an encounter of love to converse with her. It felt as if the circle of God's love was unbroken. The refreshing odor of "holiness trying to reach higher ground", was an aroma that was her spiritual signature scent. The following scripture is coming to mind,so here's to you Mignon:
Daniel 12:3 "But those with insight shall shine brightly like the splendor of the firmament, And those who lead the many to justice shall be like the stars forever"
Even though we only saw each other infrequently and never was able to connect for lunch, really sad by my loss of a sparking gem, to no more be seen here in earth. My comfort is from the following scripture and may it bring comfort the family as well. May we all live as to be able to plan on taking up residence there one day and see her again.
John 14:2 "In my Father's house there are many mansions. If not, I would have told you: because I go to prepare a place for you"

Ninette, Bobby and the entire Wolfe pack, I am so sorry for your loss. If ever anyone deserved to sail directly into heaven, it is Mignon. She was my mother's close friend since Sacred Heart, if not earlier. She was a spiritual giant to everyone who knew her. Mignon was the perfect godmother because not only was she tremendously kind and upbeat, she instructed on her deep faith by example. While it appears that the world is colder without her, I am confident that she will watch over all of you and others she loved. As captured by the beautiful obituary, while she will be missed immeasurably, her passing should be reason for celebration because the goal and purpose of her life was to inspire spiritually, live out God's teachings and care for her family and others whom she loved. To say the least, she accomplished all of those goals and more.

Mignon is the most joyful, exuberant woman I have ever met. From the second I met her while she was volunteering at the Harry Thompson Center, she surrounded me with love and made me feel special. After leaving New Orleans, I looked forward to coming back to visit, knowing I would get a breakfast date with Mignon. She constantly inspired me with her faith and personal strength. I am so thankful Mignon was part of my life. And I will truly miss her cards and letters, seeing hearts drawn around my name. Rest in peace, dear Mignon and enjoy dancing around Heaven.

Mignon Wolfe, another beautiful saint in heaven with our lord Jesus and his Mother Mary. You know she will always keep her love one in prayer before Him. She has always been in my life because it was at her home in 1969 that I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The presents of the Lord and His love was very strong in her. In 1972 when my wife, Helen, and I had our first child, Margaret, she gave us clothes for the baby. Even though I have not seen her in over 40 years her spirit has always been a inspiration to me and will continue. May the love of God that she has also be with all of you. Peace of Christ, Ronald & Helen Caruso Family

My deepest sympathies to the entire Wolfe family for your loss! I have such cherished memories from my early childhood-teen years at your home, Minette , and your mother! She was so encouraging, attentive and kind to me not only in those childhood years, but after I married we discussed my disabled child. I truly believe that her direct influence on me shaped the person that I became, I am so grateful to have known her. Mignon truly lived her faith, touched so many with her generous heart. She is an inspiration to me.

My heart has been heavy since I heard the news from my boss (Mignon's nephew). I never met Mignon in person, but I had the pleasure of speaking to her on the phone on several occasions. She felt like a friend across the miles. I will miss Mignon's warmth, her enthusiasm for life and how I always got off the phone with a laugh and a smile even if I was having a bad day at work. She was just one of those rare people who could brighten even the darkest of spaces. I'm so glad that I got to know Mignon just a little bit and I can only hope she knew how much I enjoyed talking with her. Kind and generous lady, you will be missed.

Mignon: A brave hero whose exuberance lit our world
In 1972, I asked Mignon if she would share an important idea that she especially valued. She responded: Anyone can see-saw, but it's really hard to balance.
Her choice of response revealed, what in retrospect, describes Mignon's life: She mastered an extraordinary balancing act. She ascended into a sturdy foundation for dealing with the many layered responsibilities of a demanding, rigorous, yet ever joy-filled life. She transcended fear; it was contagious! Mignon was in the flow! When I of think Mignon, I think of Divine Simplicity.
