Mildred Mays Derveloy

Mildred "Miss Millie" Mays Derveloy, 100, a native of Eunice, LA and a resident of Luling, LA, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon on Thursday, June 2 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Luling, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Luling, LA. She is survived by her loving children, Marilyn Wagner (Russ), Susan Volk (Jerry), Dr. Robert J. Derveloy, III (Victoria) and Rhonda Derveloy; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Joseph Derveloy, Jr.; parents, Everett Mays and Margaret Catherine "Carrie" Miller Mays; brothers, Kenneth, Alvin, Buford and Edwin Mays and sister, Margaret Bollick. Miss Millie enjoyed cooking. She was an excellent seamstress; as she was the owner and operator of Foxy Lady Boutique for 35 years in Luling and Destrehan. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred. Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
