Miriam Boasso Hirschey

HIRSCHEY Miriam Boasso Hirschey passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 at her home in Lacombe, LA. A native of New Orleans, lived most of her life in Arabi and most recently in Lacombe since Hurricane Katrina. She loved spending time at "the camp" in Bay St. Louis, MS. She was an active, longtime member of St. Louise de Marrillac Parish, Arabi. Loving Wife of the late Henry F. Hirschey. Devoted mother of Jan Hirschey, Brian Hirschey, Jo Ann Kelley and her husband David Kelley. Sister of Earline Clark and the late Yvette, Lucille, Randall, Elroy and Eunice. Grandmother of Dean and Deanna Kelley and Brittany Hirschey. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor, Chalmette on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 12:00 Noon.
