BARROW Myrtle Lorraine Jones Roy Barrow departed this earthly life on Friday December 29, 2006 at 10:35 A.M. Daughter of the late William (T-Bell), Sr., and Clara (Myrt) Jones. Loving wife of Albert Barrow for 45 years. Mother of Peggy Roy Lewis (Dan) Robinson. Stepmother of Dionuta Burton. Grandmother of Kentrle (Lemar) Johns, Kelicia, Karlene and Kenneth (Letitia) Lewis, Jr. Great grandmother of Keion, Kenneth and Kentaz Lewis, Fareionta' Harris, Kayla and Lemar John, Jr. and Braliyaah Brown. Sister of Doris (Victor) Washington, Ivory Reed, John (Masilena) Pollard of Garland, TX., Carolyn Bush, William ""Hungry'' (Aleta) Jones, Jr., Roland Jones and the late Anna Mae Sanders and Donald Jones. Godmother of Chanel Borden of Plano, TX and Roland Jones, Jr. Also survived by her caretaker Darlene Parker, 8 sisters-in-law, 3 brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces,nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Barrow was a lifelong resident of Algiers. She was 59 years old. She was a retired nursing assistant and a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church #1 of Algiers. Relatives and friends of the family also Pastors, Officers and Members of Mt. Olive #1 of Algiers and Second Baptist Churches and all neighboring churches, Employees of Sodexho, Frensius Medical Care, The Louisiana Department of Revenue, Blockbuster, Associate Terminal, Spur Corner, McMain P.M. School and Davita, Inc. are invited to attend Funeral Services on Thursday January 11, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church #1 of Algiers, 1124 LeBouef Street, Algiers, LA. Rev. Nathaniel Jimcoily, officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. Interment in Oakville Cemetery, Oakville, LA. MURRAY HENDERSON FUNERAL HOME in charge.
