Nathaniel "Tootman" Tobias Sr., 55 Years Old Sickle Cell Warrior of New Orleans, La, Entered into Eternal Rest on February 8, 2023. With A Countless Number of Blood Transfusions and Hospitalizations, We were Blessed to see him make his 55th Birthday. Nathaniel was born January 3,1968 to the Late David White Jr and Dorothy (Tobias) Johnson. He Attended Various Uptown Orleans Parish School. He was a Proud Alumni of Walter L Cohen Class of (1987). Nathaniel was a Mechanic and Trash Hauler by Trade. He earned the Name "Tootman" for his Love of the Harmonica as a Kid. He Later became Passionate about playing the Trombone in Walter L Cohen High School. He Also was a Culinary Arts Graduate and Red Beans and Rice was his Thang!! He was Well liked at Popeyes on Claiborne and Toledano Until his Sickle forced him into Self Employment. "Toot" was a Mechanic, Very Passionate about Working on Cars and Hauling Trash!!! He Loved His Family. He Could Call you 5 Times in One Day and tell you he Loved you at the end of each conversation. He Knew at an early age that tomorrow wasn't promised. Doctors said he wouldn't make it through many milestones but he proved them wrong. He was Preceded in death by his Dad David White Jr., Bonus Mother Delores White. Grandparents; Martha and Frank Hood Sr, David White Sr (Joyce) (Mary), an Uncle; Frank Hood Jr, Sister; Patricia White, Son; Nathaniel Osborne and Nephews; Charles Tobias, Deron Tobias and Brother in Law Edwin Thaxton Hookfin Sr. He Leaves to Cherish his Memories his Wife Ramona Armstong Tobias, Bonus Dad Elder Thomas Johnson, His Kids; Jessica Tobias, Nathaniel Tobias Jr (1), NaTanya Tobias, Natyreyia Tobias, Nathaniel Tobias Jr (2). Step kids; Dominique McZeal Glapion, Trell McZeal, Dwayne McZeal, Siblings; Timphony Tobias (Terrone), Kwane J Hookfin Harris (Andre), Shondra J Smith (Corey), Monica England (Maurice), Charlotte White (Shoron), David White lll (Kendra), Leonard White (Loronda), Delores White, Clarise White (Gerald), Trenice White, Jerome White, Daniel White, Jamie Causey (Mikal) and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Neices, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. A Memorial Service & Repast for Nathaniel will be held at Lyon Center, 624 Louisiana Ave on Saturday, February 25th at 2-6pm Sharp. Family and Friends are Cordially Invited to Attend.
