Nettie Packnett Obituary

Nettie Mae Packnett, 90, of Kenner, LA, passed away on April 20, 2021 after a recent battle with cancer. Nettie was born on November 1st, 1930 to Doretha Chatman and Jeff Parker in Centreville, MS. She was predeceased by her husband Timothy Owen Packnett, mother Doretha, and Father Jeff, sister Carrie Lean "Poola" Johnson, brother Johnny "Notcha" Chatman, daughter Linda Williams and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by daughter Muriel Packnett, son Larry Parker, brothers Ralph and Robert Chatman. Grandchildren Tishawn Perez, Devin Williams, Tameca Packnett, Ashley Parker, Brandon Packnett, Samantha Parker, and Christopher Parker. Great grandchildren Mia Parker and Jaiden Perez and many cousins. The family requests that all flowers and notes be sent to the Church. The funeral service will be held at My Redeemer Missionary Baptist Church @ 2829 Washington Avenue on May 1st, 2021. Visitation will be from 9am to 10am and the Services will be immediately after. Interment will be at Providence Memorial Park & Mausoleum in Metairie, LA. Arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Directors of New Orleans, LA.
