To Nicks family:
I am deeply saddened by the loss of Nick. I went to high school with him at Bonnable and he was always such a wonderful person and always had a way to make you laugh. I enjoyed the time I got to have with him back then. He was one of the few bright spots to high school. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. All my love.

Mr. Gil and Family,
I am deeply saddened by the loss of Nicholas. Nick and I practically grew up together. I have so many fond memories of our years as children. There isn’t one Halloween that goes by that I don’t think of our many trips to the haunted houses or even building them our selves. He was always a dear friend and I will truly miss him. I send my love and prayers.
Love,
Brandi (Ryan) Wimberly

I am so very sorry about Nick. He was a very dear friend to me. We were inseparable for some time and hung out together. He was so much fun and we got along great. I spoke to him just a couple of weeks ago. My prayers go out to Faith and the kids and to his parents and grandparents. He was part of our family and will be missed so much! He left a footprint on my heart that will never go away. I so loved him and will always do so. He will be greatly missed but live on in our hearts. Rest in Peace, "Lil" Nick. We love you and miss you. There'll never be another like you!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Nick was a great person with a heart of gold.
I don’t have many memories of high school that didn’t include Nick. I can’t count how many afternoons were spent at the Spillway mud riding. Our weekends at the camp in Mississippi were always fun and very comical. He was a character, that’s for sure.
I hate the fact that we lost touch, and I was truly looking forward to seeing him at our 10-year reunion in September. I am glad to learn how happy he was and of the family he started.
Only time moves on to the next scene, memory remains a part of the heart forever.

I knew Nick well in Middle School at Roosevelt. When I attended Bonnabel, we slowly lost touch. I've thought of him from time to time, hoping he was doing well and wondering about him. I remember him truly as the very meaning of a dear FRIEND. He was a friend to all he came into contact. (And I remember he was also such a clown!) He always gave every effort to make you smile and to say something positive to cheer you up. One time when I was upset about something in Roosevelt, he stood atop a desk in class and sang/danced something. All I could do was laugh and beg him to get down before the teacher walked back into the room! He, his date, Christian, and I all attended our 8th grade dance together. I have pictures, but of course, I can't find them right now. He will certainly be missed by many.

He was a very good friend though I have not seen him in a few years we were close friends when we younger playing Baseball and hanging out like anyone else. As usual we all grow up move away and start our lives. Though his has ended he will still live in our hearts and will be remembered by many. I would like to say that I have had the privilege of knowing him and will miss Nick.
It saddens me to know that God could take a man away from his family and friends so easily but we know he has a plan for all of us.
