The Himes & Love Family

August 27, 2021

Those who have shown us love, brought us joy, and made us laugh, have given us the lasting gifts of a beautiful life -and blessed our memories forever.

Know that we mourn with you and pray for your strength through this painful loss. May you know that your mother is now at peace and you have a gained a beautiful guardian angel.

Although we are apart in miles, we are together always in heart and spirit.

Love your cousins,
The (late Aunt Mildred) Himes' Family

To my Nanny, who has now taken on her wings for flight:

Thank you for the love you showed (me) through the years, which was such a delight. A true example of what "unconditional love" looked like.

Although it is with a heavy heart, I still must say.... "Thank you Nursie" in every possible way. Therefore, go ahead and take your rest. For (I know), your seat in heaven is awaiting~all because you were simply the BEST!!!

Even though my heart will ache for a long while which is so true. I also know that I have gained another guardian angel... who is most definitely YOU!!!

Forever Cherished Nanny!

Love your godchild,
Nell (aka Chanell Himes)

I knew her as Ms. Nursie, a sweet and lovable person. She was a close friend and coworker with my sister Flora Lanita. She was like a member of our family. The Hawkins and Henderson family feels your pain and lost. Stay strong and keep The Faith. Lanita I know you are hurting, but she´s with our Momma Louise enjoying Heaven.

Genuine people are rare to come across. I am grateful for the opportunity to have crossed paths with such a sincere, humble, sweet individual. She was indeed beautiful on the inside as well as the outside.
I'm disappointed, but I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that Heaven has gained a new angel. I will never forget my "step mama", the precious memories, that pleasant smile or my bracelet.
#love #friend #forever (it now has a new meaning)
I extend sincere condolences to the family and prayers for strength, comfort and peace.

Sympathetically Submitted,

Shawnika R. Joseph
