Patricia G. Benoit

Patricia G. Benoit, 84, of Metairie, LA, passed away on October 31, 2024. Born on March 12, 1940, Patricia dedicated many years of her life to her career, working at Pan American Life Insurance Co for 15 years and Unishippers for 20 years. Patricia was a lifelong parishioner at St. Mary Magdalen Parish, where she participated in community and spiritual activities for over 61 years. Her commitment to her faith and community was evident in her continuous involvement and support. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Hector A. Benoit Jr.; her son, Michael A. Benoit; daughter-in-law, Becky B. Benoit; granddaughter, Emily M. Gay; and her sister, Dorothy M. Lanford and loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Albert P. and Edith E. Graiser.

Patricia attended Lafayette School and graduated from East Jefferson High School, laying a strong foundation for her successful professional life. Her life will be celebrated and remembered for her dedication to her family, her career, and her faith. Patricia's presence in the lives of her family and friends will be deeply missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Service on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4900 Airline Dr. Metairie, LA. 70001. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM followed by a Mass at 2:00 PM. Interment will be immediately thereafter.
