Patricia Richard Obituary

Patricia "Ms Pat" Richard, age 66, was called to her eternal home on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, Ms. Pat passed away at her residence surrounded by family and close friends. She was born in New Orleans, LA to Otis Richard, Jr. and Naomi Patricia Cook. Patricia is survived by her stepmother Pearl Richard, Sons Sterling Michael (Tameka) Williams, Jeffery Richard, and Stanley Patrick Williams. Sisters and Brothers: Lisa (George) Walker, Faith Ava (Pete) Witherspoon, Paulette (Michael) Hammond, Linda Ann Holmes, Freddie Lee (Glennis) Hambrick, Yolanda Richard, Mary Ann (Cleophus) Hemphill of Houston, TX, Michael Smith, Barbara Martin, and Eula Pearl Ellis. She is preceded in death by her parents Otis Richard Jr., and Naomi Patricia Cook, Eldest son, David Lee Russ Jr., Sister of the late Earnest Billy Hambrick, Linda Joy Richard, Runell Jackson, Roosevelt Richard and Greenville Shelby. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren: a host of nieces and nephews. Very close friends Tyra Johnson, Ms. Ruth, Yolanda Shephard, Terry Russell, Corliss Johnson and lifelong friend, confidant and sister-in-law, Patricia "Trick" Williams. Relatives and friends of the family, Pastor, officers and members of New Hope Baptist Church, also employees of Wal-Mart Stores (Harahan, LA) and Williams Restaurant are invited to attend her Celebration of Life at New Hope Baptist Church, 1807 Rev. John Raphael Jr. Way (Formerly LaSalle Street), New Orleans, LA 70113 on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 10:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am with Pastor Jamaal Weathersby officiating. Interment: Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home & Cemeteries, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, Metairie, LA. Repast: Ro's Smokin Jo's 3827 Frenchmen Street, New Orleans, LA 70122. Arrangements by D. W.
