Paul Gros Obituary

Rev. Paul St. Anthony Gros, age 80, was promoted to his heavenly reward above on May, 20, 2021. He was born on October 14, 1940 in Gretna, LA. Rev. Paul was the son of the late Paul Gros and Mary LaFonte. Rev. Paul was the beloved husband of Mireya Molina Gros for 44 years. He is preceeded in death by his daughter Tabetha Gros Conrad; and is survived by his loving wife Mireya; daughters, Elena Robinson Beagle (Shawn) and Stacey Gros Barbe; grandchildren, Casey, Caitlin, Cameron, Savannah, Shawn Jr.; and two great grandchildren. Rev. Paul served in the United States Army for 6 years. He retired from Chevron after 25 years. He was ordained a minister by the Assemblies of God Church. Rev. Paul was the pastor to the Vieux Carre Assembly of God Church in New Orleans where he faithfully served and made an eternal impact on countless lives. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service at Abundant Life Church, 2301 Par 3 Dr., in Harvey on Thursday May 27, 2021 at 11AM. Visitation will begin at 9:30AM. Interment will follow immediately at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Ave., in Gretna, LA. Please visit www.mothefunerals.com to view and sign the online guestbook.
