Paul Anthony Resor Jr.

Paul Anthony Resor, Jr., of Abita Springs, La., died peacefully on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the age of 95. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 39 years, Audrey Rita Resor, and his beloved wife of 17 years, Faye Kalman Resor, his parents, Paul A. and Alma T. Resor, his son, Miles C. Resor, and his brother, Charles S. Resor. Paul is survived by his loving children, Paul A. Resor, III (Marion); Paul Dennis Kalman (Carolyn "Bruno") and Miles' wife (Susan), his grandchildren, Courtney Kalman Basirico (Nathan), Paul "Rudy" Kalman, III (Courtney), Rachel Calamari (Steven), and Courtney McNeill (Gage), his great-grandchildren, Ryle, Mae, Merritt, Mittie, Watts, Frankie, Isabella, Olivia, Ellie, Avery, Wyatt and Ava; and his brother, James Resor. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He enjoyed spending time with his family and travelling. He was a retired sales manager for United States Gypsum. He was a proud member of the United States Army, having served from 1950-1952. He received an Occupation Medal (Germany). He was a Life Member of the Army's Society of the First Infantry Division and an active member of the VFW and American Foreign Legion He enjoyed taking part in the various member activities and spending time with his fellow members. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at 9:00 am on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
