Paul it has only been a week, but it feels like a lifetime since you have been gone. We miss you deeply. Our hearts are broken, and will take a long time to heal. You are one of the best brothers anyone could have asked for. You were always giving of yourself without expecting anything in return. I am glad that I had spent so much time with you those last few days, I will treasure that time forever.
Love you,
Your Lil Sis -

It's been a flood of emotions the last few days, but I hope we can all find comfort in knowing that Uncle Paul is no longer suffering. I'm sure he's found the perfect spot to go fishing with PaPa.

To Paul, Tobie & Timmy: Remember, you're never alone. Your Dad is now watching you from above and though none of us can replace him, we're all here for you.

Katie and Denis,

Growing up the daughter of a New Orleans Fireman (Forest LaCombe) gave me the pleasure of meeting and getting to know many good quality men; Paul was one of them. My thoughts are with you on this sad day.
With deepest sympathies,

Dear Mike, Mary and Jimmy,
Although I can't be there with you at this time, my heart and prayers certainly are. The Tranchina family and Jim Mooney are very much a part of my memories of growing up in Huntlee Village. I remember when we played touch football on Fisher Court next to Sue Shexnayder's house across Huntlee Drive from the Tranchina home. It's hard to believe that was forty years ago. We are all part of Old Algiers history and its passing saddens me. I love all of you.

"Rest now my fallen brother
Lay soft your suffering back
Rest well and forever
Your memory shall not lack
Rest your tired hands
Wipe clean your weary brow
Rest with St. Florian
Your spirit now endowed
Rest here your breaking heart
We know you gave your all
Rest easy, you’ve done your part
You’ve answered your last call
Rest knowing that in god we sought
Oh lord, watch over another who just fell
Rest assured your troubled thought As we ring the final bell."

Rest in Peace, Cuz.
