I still can't comprehend that I am left here on earth without you. I am so grateful that I had you to myself for over 20 years! You were my rock, my bestfriend, my soulmate. We were so good together (TEAM CROSS)! I thank you for being the man you were. I promise to continue to raise our boys to be the best they can be. I know you are so proud of their strength! I miss you so much it's unbearable, but I know I must go on for you and the boys.
Till we meet again my SUPERCOP!

Tricia, Cody and Dillon...I am so sorry to hear of Richard's death. He was such a kind and wonderful person and a loving father and husband. We always enjoyed chatting and cutting up with him! Wow Patricia, Cody, & Dillon, I just heard about Richard. I am so Very Sorry for your Loss. Ross & I had just seen & said Hello to Richard while he was on duty, so only got a moment, but he was always such a pleasure to see & talk with. Not to mention serving our community as a Police officer. Ross & I will pray for you & believe wholeheartedly that Richard is in God's presence now. 1st off, I want to say I love you. I am so grateful i had the chance to coach you both. Your dad was so proud of you. It seems like yesterday, we were in Cooperstown with him taking us on a boat ride. Continue to make him proud! God has a plan for all of us, I know it is so hard for you right now but realize, he is sitting with God right now. He was a giver, he served our country, then protected it as a police officer. He was a great person and more importantly a great father and role model. You have grown to be the men he wanted you to be. Please keep the faith that you will one day.be with him in heaven.
