Happy belated birthday uncle Richard, I will always remember the times back in the 1970s when I was a little boy and we would go to the house on Hickey street,I can still see My Paran Joey's white Chevy Impala with the flames on them when he was about 18 and I was about 5, and Rhonda, Ricky, and Aunt Audrey, I love you all. Nanny,Joe,Rickie, and Rhonda: They don't have the word's to express how saddened I felt hearing that my wonderful Godfather (Uncle Richard) had passed. we have together many great memories, all of them fabulous one's that I will keep in my heart forever. To the Zappulla Family I would like to express my deepest heartfelt sympathies for the lost of your husband and father. To Richard, my father-in-law thank you for welcoming me into your family as your son-in-law and making me feel in every way as a family member and proud husband of his only daughter. When you and Audrey would visit us in Las Vegas, I’ll always treasure the laughs and good times we shared and how empty the house seemed after you left. I thank you for your generosity, wit, and your wonderful sense of humor and teaching me the game of golf from “The other side” as we were both left handed.

I am very sorry to hear about Richie's passing, I worked for him at the Castle in Atlantic City, I have worked for many different people in my life but Richie was one a kind in every way,he had one of the greatest personalities I have ever encountered,I always respected Richie like a father, as a matter of fact I gave him a card on Fathers day sometime in the early 1990s, I also got to know his sons Rick and Joe as well as his wife Audrey, I wish to offer My condolences to the entire Zappulla family

Dear Audrey,Joe,Rick and the Zappulla family. With a heavy heart I offer my sincere condolence on Richie's passing. Living and working in Las Vegas for the past 8 months I pass the casinos where Richie worked and I recall the stories he told me about them.
