I have just now seen this obituary today, July 9, 2021. I'm glad I did because - to Henry, and all the family, thank you for all the wonderful things Rita did for us kids in the neighborhood. She was truly a blessing to us all growing up and going to St. Matthias Elementary School. I'll especially remember the remarkable cake contests that Henry would win! Stands to reason he became a visual artist. Miss you Miss Rita!

I will always remember Miss Rita. She was so active at St. Matthias Elementary School. And, Henry, I remember all those terrific cakes you baked and won at the cake contests. And the soap box derbies. And, of course, the loving support of Miss Rita as I was growing up. In addition to that, she was a strong support for my daughter at her nursery school. I will never forget her great smile!

Aunt Rita was pure beauty in very way. she and the entire family was always wonderful to me. and I am very thankful that she was my mothers best friend. For that friendship brought me to the Holzenthal family. And to know her friendship I am truly blessed. For the one thing that I always knew is that if you saw her you were going to laugh and that is the best memory of all.
