I worked with Bob for more than two decades. He was a good friend and someone I could depend on for advice or help. He and Donna opened their home to me after Katrina when I came back and had no air conditioning/ electric for a week. He was sort of a radical flower child; never shy on an opinion; very smart and talented. The best advice he ever gave to me when I was dealing with my mother dying, and me and my father arguing. He told me, it wasn't about me nor my father; it was about her. I listen to him, apologized, and never regretted it. I will miss our conversations at work in the morning.

Bob, Shawn & I miss you so much. There are so many things I wish we'd had a chance to say to you before you left us. Until we meet again....
