ROBERT LINDSEY

MY MEMORIES OF BY BROTHER OF THE SHIELD SPAN MANY DECADES AND THEY ARE SOMETHING I WILL HOLD ONTO FOR THE REST OF MY BEING.

BOBBY WAS ALWAYS WHAT A POLICE OFFICER SHOULD BE. HE KNEW WHAT HIS JOB WAS AND HE DID IT WITHOUT COMPROMISING HIS HONOR, INTEGRITY, LOYALTY OR TRUTH. BOBBY WAS AN HONORABLE MAN WHO DEVOTED TO HIS GOD, FAMILY AND COUNTRY.

WE SERVED IN THE MOST VIOLENT ERA OF AMERICAN LAW ENFORCEMENT. WE SUFFERED, SUPPORTED EACH OTHER, LAUGHED A LOT AND CRIED WHEN NECESSARY. ESPECIALLY WHEN A BROTHER OR SISTER OFFICER WAS INJURED OR PAID THE ULTIMATE PRICE.

I WILL FEVERENTLY REMEMBER AND NEVER FORGET BOBBY. I WILL CONTINUE TO TELL HIS STORY AND I LOOK FOWARD TO SPENDING ETERNITY WITH HIM.

BY THE WAY, YOU SHOULD KNOW I TALKED TO BOBBY A LOT TOWARDS THE END. HE NEVER GAVE UP AND NEVER, NOT ONE TIME COMPLAINED!!!

THAT IS THE CALIBER OF MAN BOBBY WAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE.

NON SOLEUS (NEVER ALONE)

RETIRED J.P.S.O. COLONEL BOB LINDSEY

Today heaven is a better place with the passing of Bobby. I was proud to have called him a mentor, partner, and friend. He rode a beat and protected the thin blue line, but today, he walks the streets of gold beyond the heavenly realms. Until we meet again....
