Rodney Joseph Woods Sr.

WOODS Rodney Joseph Woods, Sr., age 56, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Tulane Medical Center. Mr. Woods received an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corp. in 1970. He was a member of the Elks Lodge Winter Capital and the Cabby Pool Team. Son of the late John H. Woods II and Josephine Farve Woods. Father of Shavonne Woods and the late Rodney Joseph Woods, II. Brother of Cynthia Woods Sears, John H. Woods, III, Chryel Woods Barsock, Sheila Woods Alexander and the late Bertha Woods Hayes. Grandfather of Rodney Joseph Woods, III. Also survived by aunts, uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Family and friends were invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, March 31, 2007, at Charbonnet-Labat Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip St., at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
