Roland Chaisson was one of the finest, utterly selfless, courageous, most admirable men I have ever met. He was truly one of the greatest of the "Greatest Generation"! I miss him deeply, and will ever aspire to his fortitude and character and heart.

The service Mr. Chaisson dedicated to his country during World War II as stated in his obituary is truly remarkable.
I was a fellow parishioner at SCS and never really knew him well or appreciated his service and bravery to his country and the cause of freedom.
He truly was a deserving member of the Greatest Generation and of our everlasting remembrance, admiration, and respect.
Future generations will always be in the debt of him and those like him.
