My brother Ron
Who dreamed great dreams
And did great things
And laughed through life
On angel’s wings.
Bold in his courage
and worthy of praise,
He touched us all
in so many ways.
His life was full,
but too short of days.
He inspired us all
with his courage and wit
Though in typical Ron fashion
made light of it.
Always busy, never idle,
all the days he was here.
He lived life to the fullest
with great love, not fear.
Through all his triumphs
He was, in the end,
A great husband, father,
Brother and friend.
We will miss you as long as we live.

Dear Meghan and family,
I do not know why I did a name search for Ron today but I did and I am so sad for your loss but glad for the opportunity to offer our condolances. Ron and I worked on several real estate projects in New Orleans during the 1980's and I found him to be a gentleman, dynamic, willing to take risks and delivering a quality product. I have read the other comments and yes his Jesuit training is now so apparent and he did possess a sense of wonder and excitment as he met his challenges.
You and he are in our thoughts and prayers.

Meghan, our deepest sympathies for your loss, but our greatest rejoicing in Ron's life and his journey home. I thought it was strange how profusely the rose bush Ron sent us after your visit with us was blooming last Thursday night. Now I know why. I have attached a photo. My dear Meghan,
I was stunned and deeply moved to receive word tonight of Ron's passing.
But then a favorite Ron Fisk story (which I hadn't thought about in years) entered my mind, and I've been chuckling ever since!
Ron was a great man, and it's comforting for me to know that he'll be praying for me.

Ron was such an AWESOME Science Olympiad coach, and I was always inspired by his scientific knowledge, his creativity and his amazing vision . . . he really was a modern Leonardo! Vicki, I am so sorry that God had other plans for Ronnie, but be assured that He holds all of you in his loving heart and will fill you with wonderful memories of the good times. I remember Ron as a sweet young man in Anything Goes, with a wonderful sense of humor. Your memories and God's love will heal your heart.
