Sally & Family-
"Ma Rosa" holds a special place in our hearts - I think I was a teenager before I figured out that we were not blood related. A New Orleans visit was not complete without a trip to Arabi - a shame I watched so many tamales get made without learning how! We will remember her love in those memories and in each future visit with those she was closest to. Hope to see you soon.
Love,
Earl Beauvais

Dear Sally, family and friends,
It is impossible to overstate the effect of the love and compassion that Rosa's life has had on so many of us who are so blessed to have known her.
She showered so much love and affection on my family from the time Georgiann was an infant through our last visit.
Please know that not only will she be sadly missed by her loved ones and those that hold her in admiration and awe, but also that her indomitable spirit has influenced generations of people who are better for having been in her company.
I join you in the celebration of her remarkable life and in the just reward that God will surely bestow upon her.
Via con Dios, Mamita.

Sally,
What an amazing woman your mother was. I still remember the "lunch bunch" raving about her cooking. May the Senor be with you and your family. Vio Condios (hope I spelled it correctly)

Dearest Sally and All the Family,
I am with you every minute of this day as you send Mamita to God to be happily home with all her loved ones in heaven. Three people notified me of her passing. I am privileged to have known her and experienced her great love and the love that she passed on to all of you. Consider me a family friend, who prays and hopes that this "Mamita" love will continue for many generations to come.

To Jeanne, Lisa and Ms. Sally: I have known your wonderful grandmother ever since I started work at C&K with Jeanne over 30 years ago. I remember the wonderful meals she would make once a month. It was ashamed that when I was younger my dad didn't like Mexican food because instead of Yeager's on Elysian Fields, we would have went to your grandmother's restaurant instead. You are all in my prayers and she was one fine lady who knew how to live and love and be loved. Mamita was definitely loved not only by family but by friends.
