Rudolph "Moses" Polly Sr., age 76, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 16, 2017 at his residence. He was a native of Hahnville, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Rudolph served his country as a member of the United States Army and was a retired employee of Avondale Shipyard. Beloved husband of the late Adline Thomas Polly. Loving father of Darren (Venus) Johnson, Ronald Ingram, Angelina (Grant) Steib, Rudolph Polly Jr., and the late Harry Ingram. Stepfather of Kimberly Smith, Roy Perry, Sandra (Peter) Martin, Tammy (Josh) Young, Earl and Charles Ingram, and the late Adline Perry and Sonya Christian. Son of the late Ernest Polly Sr. ad Margerite Smith Dumas. Brother of Ernest (Janet) Polly Sr., Matthews Polly, Ronald and Curtis (Diane) Dumas, Anita D. Howard, Sheryl D. Knoten, Peter (Yvonne) Dumas Jr., and the late George Polly Sr. Nephew of Alexander Hymes. Father-in-law of Carl Christian. Godfather of Shantrell Byrd, Brittney and Brandy Champagne, and Rachell Ingram; also survived by 19 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
