Dear Grace,
My daughter, Karen, and your Gina were childhood friends. We lived on 39th. St. You and I had many visits when the girls were about 9 yrs. old. I was widowed in 1987.
Hope you and your family are well.
Russell will be missed.
Sincerely,
Jennie

Dear Grace and Angie: I knew you and Russell for only a few minutes. Those few minutes have long lived in my memory. You gave Jim Lewis and me a lift from the Fairgrounds Racecourse to Mama Rosa's on Rampart, remember? Total strangers meeting total strangers. Days later when we were back in Houston and having dinner with Don and Bruce, we spoke of the incident and marveled at the kindness of those three residents of New Orleans. That and what followed is a story I love repeating.
God bless both of you and your families.

Grace, Miss Angie,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and the children.
How extremely fortunate I was to have had such a very, very gifted musician play for my medioka dancing. Both Donald and I enjoyed Russell and it was a joy to view his California-style laidback treatment of you two. Grace what GREAT memories you must have.
Again, my thoughts are with you.
Regards,
