Samuel "Sambo" Green

Samuel ""Sambo'' Green, age 68 years, died Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Triumph Hospital, SW in Sugar Land, TX. Mr. Green was born in Dalcour, LA on December 17, 1936. He was a resident of Violet, LA for many years. Mr. Green is survived by two sons: Samuel and Stephan Green; five daughters: Sandra Langlois, Sophia Isaac, Sonia Joseph, Simone Santiago and Sheryl Towner; one sister, Dorothy Johnson; sexteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa P. Green; parents, Herbert and Ethel B. Green; his sister, Ethel Mae Green; his brothers: Phillip, Herbert, Rev. Aaron and Moses Green. He was a retired employees from Exxon Mobile Oil Refinery, Chalmette, LA. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. at the Fall Creek Memorial Chapel, 14434 Old Humble Road, Humble, TX. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be Wednesday, November 23 at the Promised Land Cemetery, Braithwaite, LA.
