Sandra Royer Obituary

Sandra Duet Royer, a resident of Slidell and native of Chalmette, passed away on July 5, 2018. She was 43 years old. Beloved daughter of Adele "Cookie" and Raynor Duet. Loving mother of Emilie A. Royer and Joseph A. Royer (Lauren). Grandmother of Elijah T. Royer and Liam R. Royer. Former wife of Lurry Royer, Jr. Sister of Daniel Joseph Duet (Rose). Aunt of Jerri Duet Stewart (Craig), Jaime G. Sousa and Jasmine Duet. Granddaughter of the late Adele and Joseph Rouillier and the late Velma and David Duet. She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Sandra was never happier than when spending time with her grandchildren and spreading love to her family. She loved the outdoors, was a lover of life, and always enjoyed having a good time. She will be dearly loved and forever missed by all those fortunate enough to have known her. A memorial service was held in Sandra's honor at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, in Chalmette, on Wednesday, July 18, 2018.
