Shawn Davis Obituary

DAVIS Shawn P. Davis entered the world on May 5, 1969 and departed it December 4,2007 in a car accident in Keller, Tx. During his time on earth he touched many peoples lives and now they are left with aching hearts, but loving memories of a man who dearly loved his wife Clara, his two children, Kaitlyn and Jessica, his parents, Alice and Ted Davis, and his sister Erin LaVie, brother-in-law David LaVie, and nephew David LaVie, Jr. He also left behind many aunts, uncles, cousins. Shawn was raised in Avondale, resided in Metairie, Jefferson, and Madisonville before moving to Keller, Texas in 2006. Anyone that met Shawn felt they had known him all of their lives. He had a great sense of humor and personality. He loved music, movies, and especially sports. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He has left a void that will never be filled. Sadly we had to say goodbye but he'll live in our hearts until we meet again. If you would like to sign the guest book please go to www.startelegram.com.

I was very sorry to hear about Shawn's accident. I started at Lagasse and worked very closely with him for our 1st year there. He was always very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Shawn always spoke fondly of his wife and girls. I know he loved them very much. My thoughts and prayers are with them and his extended family as well. He was a great guy and he will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
