Stephen Gerard Freeman, age 59, of Slidell, LA, passed away on April 30, 2024. He was born on December 8, 1964, and is the son of Elma Vale and the late Gerard Vale. Stephen will be remembered as a loving son, brother, and uncle. He was someone who would give you the shirt off his back and help others without hesitation. He served honorably in the United States Army and loved riding his bicycle. Brother of George Freeman, Michelle Freeman, and the late Herman Freeman. Uncle of Brandon, Kylie, and Casey Freeman. He is also survived by numerous family members and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
