Condolences to the Steven Threefoot family. I knew Steve as one of the older and more seasoned residents of Sargent Hall at NU. He was a great resource to the freshman and was always open to give advice as we adjusted to college life. I immediately bonded with him because I thought we were the only ones of Native American ancestry. When he sat me down and told me his familial background, we shared an ongoing laugh from that point on.

Grew up with Steven at St Martin's school and I remember Betsy as well.My mother who died from pancreatic cancer was a patient of his father. He always had a smile of his face. That's what I will remember when I think of him. I wish the family peace in their hearts.

Steve and I planned to room together at NU in 1976-77, but the annual room lottery had different ideas and it never came off. Sorry that I didn't get that opportunity to bond with him. He was a great guy. Very impressed with all that he accomplished and so sorry to learn that he left us all too soon. My condolences to his family and friends.
