Sylvia Ann Barnes, age 73 was born on November 29, 1942 and passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015. She was a parishioner of St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Court 59 Auxillary. Wife of the late Sammie Barnes. Daughter of the late Irma and Dave Knockum, Sr. Mother of Trudy Wallace, Monette Johnson and the late Todd Barnes. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also Priest and Parishioners of St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church are invited to attend the Visitation on Monday, December 28, 2015 at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, 2015 Louisiana Avenue from 9:00 am until 10:00 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment Providence Memorial Park.
