You are a classmate to be forever cherished in memory. You taught me much and I hope I was among those you considered a friend. You will be missed, Tommy, go into the light.

Tommy and I go back much further than high school graduation of 60 years ago. My father and his maternal grandfather were members of the Firemen's Charitable and Benevolent Association, a membership that was passed from father to son. As children of 8 or 10, we would see each other at the organizational annual banquet; and my mother would always tell me to "go ask that nice little boy to dance." We got to know each other much better while working on our 50th reunion and in the years since then. Tommy held all of his classmates in the highest regard and always asked if there was news from any of them. In addition to his many classmates, Tommy had several absolutely wonderful neighbors who helped him on a daily basis. It was only because of their love and devotion and care, that he was able to live independently for all long as he did. Tommy had a life well lived. He was truly blessed and is now at peace. Rest well, my friend.

I knew you were a chemistry genius when I was your lab partner at Benjamin Franklin High School. We will all miss you very much.

I´m grateful for having known you in high school, Tommy, a sweet guy with an incisive mind. Our memories are richer for you, and heaven must have a special choir for those who can trisect an angle.
