I extend my condolences to the victims of the Paris terror attacks in 2015 and their families. It was so sad that terrorists struck twice in 2015. I remember taking French in high school and really liking it. I wish I could remember all of it. I also love watching the tennis tournament at Roland Garros every year on TV. Paris surely looks beautiful in the spring. I hope Paris can still retain its luster and light.

To the families and friends afflicted:
My heartfelt sympathies go out to all during this difficult time. I hope that the promise found in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring you some comfort. Knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

We are living in critical times as prophesied in the Holy Writings at 2 Timothy 3:1. May it comfort family and friends to know that their deaths were not lost in vain. God will seek justice for all who have suffered from hate crimes. He is a refuge and strength for all of us until the final war at Armageddon.

I am shocked to hear of so many hate crimes in these past few months around the world. I am especially concerned of the attacks in Paris because I have relatives who have visited in the last few months, and most recently just a month ago. I am glad my family is safe; however, there is no guarantee of safe travel anywhere these days. The Holy Writings have prophesied about the increase of lawlessness at Matthew 24:12. We are living in the last days
(2 Timothy 3:1) and I have heartfelt compassion for those who have lost their loved ones to hate crimes. May it comfort you to know that God will seek vengeance in their behalf as promised at Psalm 72:14 - "From oppression and violence He will rescue them, and their blood will be precious in his eyes."

To the Victims of Paris Families & Friends,
To lose a loved one is like losing a piece of yourself...but the love these one brought you did not leave...the essence of them will forever linger. It can't escape your hearts for its been there for so long. Cling to the memories and let them find their way to heal your hearts. The love and the laughter, the joy and the togetherness you all shared will make you strong.
So you have come to realize that time together no matter how long or how short you were blessed to have such precious gifts in your lives.
Psalms 37:29-"The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will live forever upon it."

Our deepest sympathy to everyone who lost loved ones. Isaiah 2:4 says; "He will render judgment among the nations And set matters straight respecting many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares And their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, Nor will they learn war anymore." We have a better future, our God promised a better future and without any doubt is going to happen.

Suddenly Our Lives Can Change
By: Charles G. Turner, Sr.
In a matter of seconds life can change
And for us it is natural to feel unusual and strange
But no matter what we have to do
God will see us through
In natural disasters some will survive
Others will struggle and try to stay alive
With help from friends and neighbors
We use the strength that the Lord provides
Through guidance and strong determination
We all manage to come together
And save our communities, city, country or a nation
Material things shouldn't matter
Life is the important thing on our mind and on God's platter
Again people survive while
Others try but don't seem to make it out alive
Families lose love ones and see them depart
Which is a big hurt to the heart
For those of us that can provide
We come together with food and the essentials
To help many people stay alive
Life is uncertain when disaster happens
It is up to us to help others by being strong enough to strive
By coming together and keeping hope alive
Each night or day as we pray
God will help us see the way
Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone directly and indirectly affected by this tragedy.
